OAKHILL STUD DOG AWARD:
A walnut plaque with brass plates donated by Carl & Jeanne Beehler, Irwin & Donna Bowers, Frank & Mary Ann Cianciolo and Ken Flora. Awarded annually to a club member owning a male Clumber Spaniel who has sired the greatest number of Clumbers to finish an AKC Championship during a calendar year.

ASHLEY AWARD
A walnut plaque with brass plates donated by Jim Rogers. Awarded annually to the club member owning a female Clumber Spaniel who has whelped the greatest number of Clumbers to finish an AKC Championship during the calendar year. Replacing previous brood bitch award.

CYPRESS WOODS BREEDER OF BEST PUPPY AWARD
A wooden plaque containing areas to engrave winner's names donated by Carol Sweeney in honor of Betty L. Young's kennel. Betts owned or bred 5 of the first 7 Clumbers to go BIS, including the very first Best in Show Clumber Spaniel dog and the first Best In Show Clumber Spaniel bitch. This award is presented at the National Specialty banquet and is not to be retired. It is not listed in the Club's Premium List. The award will be the property of Clumber Spaniel Club of America and all trophies, Club and take home, will be kept by the Clumber Spaniel Club of America's Trophy Chairman. A supply of five years of take home awards is also donated.

LUKE CUP
A silver plated bowl donated by Bryant Freeman. Awarded annually to the Club member owning the Clumber Spaniel that has accumulated the most Best of Breed wins at AKC shows during the calendar year. The award is a perpetual trophy, not to be retired. First won 1977.

CURTIS CHALLENGE TROPHY
A Pewter Tray with Clumber Head offered by Margaret Curtis. Awarded annually to the owner of the Clumber Spaniel who has the highest number of Phillips points for the preceding calendar Year. This is a perpetual trophy and will be engraved annually at the expense of the donor, prior to the National Specialty. The donor will provide a small replica of the trophy to the owner (s). Only one award will be given regardless of number of owners. First offered in 1994. Replaces Cypress Woods Trophy first offered in 1986.

CANTERBURY CUP
Donated by Patricia Cuneo and Myra Crabtree. First won 1983. A silver plated bowl awarded annually to the Club member for the top ownerhandled dog in the preceding calendar year who has won the most points for dogs defeated at the group and Best In Show levels (Phillips points). To be eligible for this award, the owner-handler must not be paid to exhibit said dog, whether or not the owner's name is still attached to the dog. This award is strictly for the nonprofessional owner/handler.

To apply for the award, please submit a list of the owner/handled award wins to the Club Awards Record Keeper. A miniature cup presented for permanent possession.

SUNSHINE STATE PERPETUAL BEST OF BREED AWARD
The trophy is a tall 2-tiered, stair-stepped walnut trophy mounted on a larger walnut base, topped by a hand painted resin image of a Clumber Spaniel. A purple and gold Best In Show Ribbon is positioned on the trophies so as to appear to be draped on the Clumber's paw. All dogs having won the BOB at the specialty will have a plaque engraved on the Award beginning with 1978. Donated by CSCA members residing in Florida. The trophy is covered on the sides with engraved 1x3 inch gold plates fastened by screws which will contain the name of the Clumber Spaniel and the year in which the dog won. A large plaque is on the front center of the award stating that the Award is the Sunshine State Perpetual Award for Best of Breed. A smaller version of the trophy is awarded to the principal owner at the National Specialty Awards Banquet.

CRYSTAL PERPETUAL AWARD for BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX
Trophy donated by CSCA Florida members, owners and friends in honor of Ch Wild Cherry's Glacier Mint, TD, in honor of all dogs or bitches which have placed Best of Opposite Sex at the National Specialty Show. The trophy is a one tier walnut trophy mounted on a larger walnut base, topped by a hand painted resin image of a Clumber Spaniel. It is covered on the sides with engraved 1x3 inch gold plates fastened by screws which will contain the name of the Clumber Spaniel and the year in which the dog won. A large plaque on the front center of the trophy states that the Award is the Crystal Perpetual Award for Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed. A smaller version of the trophy awarded to the principal owner at the National Specialty Awards Banquet. It will not be engraved with the dog's name but with the words CSCA National Specialty Best of Opposite Sex and the year.

CLUSSEXX BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX TO BEST OF BREED CUP
This perpetual award is offered by Jeane Haverick and Doug Johnson in recognition of Ch. Clussexx Bubblelicious. An engraved pewter loving cup on a wooden base with an area for engraving the names of the CSCA best of opposite to best of breed winners. A smaller engraved pewter loving cup will be given to the owner as a token of the award.

DRUMHILL CUP
A silver plated perpetual trophy (with a miniature presented for permanent possession) donated by Judy & Marty Hiller. Awarded annually to the Club member whose bitch Clumber earned the most points in a calendar year for both BOB & BOS awards (points to be determined by number of dogs competing, including winner. If BOB awarded count all competitors; if BOS awarded, count all Bitches entered. No additional points for BW unless also awarded either BOB or BOS.

To apply for this award, please submit a list of dates and names of shows and the Gazette issue where published to the club's awards Record Keeper. First won 1983.

GABLE VERSATILITY AWARD
A perpetual plaque (individual smaller trophy given for permanent possession) donated by Bill & Laurie Tull. It is to be awarded to a Clumber who has earned a title in each of the four venues of competition: hunting, conformation, obedience and tracking. Titles do not have to be attained within the same calendar year. First awarded in 1998.

HIGH SCORING OBEDIENCE DOG
A Trophy donated by Donna Empson Rudolph in 1988 to replace previous trophy.

Awarded annually to the Club Member owning the Clumber Spaniel earning the highest single score in any regular obedience class at an AKC obedience competition in the calendar Year. First won in 1977.

CSCA VERSATILITY AWARD
An award offered by the CSCA to a dog/bitch successfully completing any 4 out of the 5 AKC titles or degrees available through AKC recognized competitions: conformation, obedience, hunting, tracking, agility.

JUNIOR HANDLER
Donated by CSCA and awarded annually to the Club member or the son or daughter of a Club member who has accumulated the greatest number of wins while handling a Clumber Spaniel in the Junior Handling Classes of AKC shows during the calendar year.

RALPHE MEMORIAL TROPHY
A silver plated tray (replacing the previous silver plated tray) donated by George & Lizbeth Molloy in memory of Companionway Nerak Ralphe AM/CAN CDX. To be awarded annually to a member of CSCA who, during the calendar year, has owned, trained and exhibited at each trial for which credit is claimed, the Clumber Spaniel obtaining the highest number of qualifying scores of 170 points or better in a Regular class at an obedience trial held under the rules of American, Canadian or Bermuda Kennel Clubs. For permanent possession to be won 3 times by the same owner, trainer and exhibitor but not necessarily with the same Clumber Spaniel nor in consecutive years. This trophy is to be held by the winner for approximately one year and is to be returned to the CSCA in time for the next awards ceremony. First won in 1985.

HIGHEST SCORE NOVICE A
Awarded annually to the Club Member owning the Clumber Spaniel earning the highest score in the Novice A obedience class at any AKC obedience competition in the previous calendar year.

"WOOZLE" AWARD
Offered by Patricia Ray in memory of Widdecombe's Golden Guinea CDX. Awarded annually to the Club Member owning the Clumber Spaniel earning the highest score in the Open A obedience class at any AKC obedience competition in the previous calendar year.

TRACKING DEGREE
An award offered by Mary Ann & Edward Andrews to any Club Member whose Clumber earned a TD in the previous Calendar year.

TRACKING DEGREE EXCELLENT
: An award offered by Barbara & Al Stebbins to any Club Member whose Clumber earned a TDX in the previous Calendar year.

TRACKING VARIABLE SURFACE TRACKING TITLE
An award offered by Syndi Schuknecht-Sweeney to any club member whose Clumber earned a Variable Surface tracking title during the previous calendar year.

HUNTING TITLE JUNIOR HUNTER
An award offered by Edythe Donovan to any Club Member whose Clumber earned a Junior Hunter Title during the previous Calendar year.

HUNTING TITLE SENIOR HUNTER
An award offered by Carol Sweeney to any Club Member whose Clumber earned a Senior Hunter Title during the previous Calendar year.

AGILITY TITLE – NOVICE AGILITY
An award offered by Norma Simpson to any club member whose Clumber earned a Novice Agility Title during the previous calendar year.

CLUMBER SPANIEL SPORTING DOG CUP
An award offered by Jack Rutherford for the Clumber Spaniel that best embodies the attributes of the breed for the purpose it was originally developed. These attributes include those characteristics described in the breed standard and those required for fieldwork such as finding, flushing and retrieving birds. One cup will be presented annually to the principal owner of the winning Clumber Spaniel. The cup will be engraved with the winning dog's name, and the year won. A perennial plaque will contain a nameplate denoting the winning dog's name and year won and will be maintained with the Clumber Spaniel Club of America. First awarded in 2004. Selection Criteria: * The dog must be an AKC or CKC Champion of record. Note: championship may be attained during the award year. * The dog must have acquired at least one Best of Breed or one Best of Opposite Sex in an AKC dog show with competition in the winning category and at least one leg towards a hunting title during the award year. * Points will be awarded as follows: * Each Best of Breed awarded will be worth one point. Each Best of Opposite Sex will be worth one half point. A group placement will be worth an additional one point. Points will be given for Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex only if there is competition for those awards. * Each Junior Hunter leg will be worth 3 points. Each Senior Hunter leg will be worth 4 points. Each Master Hunter leg will be worth 5 points. Attainment of a hunting title (JH, SH or MH) will be worth an additional one point. * Each Best of Breed, Best of Opposite Sex and leg towards a hunting title in which the dog is owner handled will be worth an additional one half point. For purposes of defining “ownerhandled”, the handler must be an owner of record at the time of the event. * The cup will be awarded to the dog with the highest number of points, awarded as described above, in the award year. This award must be applied for. Application form attached.

CSCA-AKC HUNTING AWARD
A perennial award in the form of a large wooden base with a porcelain sculpture of a rising pheasant attached on top will be provided. Donated by CSCA member hunters. The base will contain a nameplate denoting each dog's name and year won and will be maintained with the Clumber Spaniel Club of America. All dogs with previous titles will be honored by nameplates bearing their terminal titles back to 1988. The purpose of the award is to encourage the continued excellence of the Clumber Spaniel breed and the continued development of the Clumber Spaniel as a legitimate and highly regarded sporting dog. It seeks to encourage greater participation by owners and dogs in the training of the Clumber Spaniel for field work. Finally, it honors and memorializes the achievement of individual Clumber Spaniels in pursuit of the purpose for which they were originally developed. All Clumber Spaniels that have been awarded an AKC Hunting Title in the calendar year preceding the award year. This is in addition to any existing hunting awards. No application is required.

FOREIGN AWARDS
The Clumber Spaniel Correspondence Award: Offered by Clumber Spaniel Correspondence: to the dog or bitch earning the highest total of points for competition in the conformation, obedience, hunting and tracking events offered by the CSCA in conjunction with its national specialty each year. Points are earned merely for competing, with additional points earned for success in each endeavor. Award presented the following year at the annual banquet.

PEOPLE AWARDS (Given at the Annual Banquet)

PRESIDENT'S AWARD
This award, originally donated by Don Croake, is a pewter wine cooler/vase with classic lion's head handles awarded annually to a person, not currently an officer or board member of the CSCA, for significant contributions to the Club. Members may nominate individuals; Board elects the winner. Previous winners are: Pat Behrns, Sheila Miller, Jim Rogers, Bill Blakeley, Sandy Blakeley, Darrell Reeves, Bets Young, Judy Hiller, George O'Neil, Not Awarded in 1992, Jan Friis, Ricky Blackman, Edie Donovan, Anne Winchester, Not Awarded in 1997, Leigh Ehrenkrantz, Not Awarded in 1999 or 2000, Barbara Stebbins, Not Awarded in 2002 or 2003, Roe Froman, Al Stebbins, .Susan King, Ron Porras, Bryant Freeman.

BILL BLAKELEY MEMORIAL HUMANITARIAN AWARD
A pewter goblet, suitably engraved, to be presented to the Club Member chosen by the Board, who best exemplifies the virtues which made Bill Blakeley a giant in his time: keen sensitivity to the need and concerns of other people; genuine desire to help others meet their needs; tireless effort in the service of others; complete selflessness, lacking any desire for personal gain. Any club member is eligible and may be nominated for the award by another individual providing to the Board a written statement of the candidate's qualities and activities which demonstrate the above virtues which governed Bill Blakeley's life. The results of the Board's vote will be kept secret until announced by the Club President at the Annual General Meeting. Not necessarily awarded every year. Previous winners are Edie Donovan, Pat Behrns, Barbara Stebbins, Sue Carr and Jane Bonaccorso. Not given in 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 1997 (1998-2006?), Bryant Freeman, John Woodlief.

EDIE DONOVAN GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD
An award offered by the Clumber Spaniel Club of America, Inc. in honor of Edythe Donovan. It is to be given to the Club Member who, in the opinion of the Board, best exemplifies the qualities of good sportsmanship in the dog fancy as so typified by Edie. Members may nominate individuals: Board selects the recipient. Not necessarily awarded every year.
